Summary
Aimlessly wandering the mall, looking for a good distraction after a bad breakup, Joshua Jones is stopped by a stunning Marine Corps recruiter, Sergeant Pitowski, that tries to sell him on the honor it is to become a Marine, though Joshua isn't buying it... buuuut he might be willing to help the handsome Sergeant reach his recruitment quota if he could recruit the Marine for his own selfish cause: finding someone to distract him with certain pleasurable activities for a rebound after his breakup. This serves not only an ethical dilemma for Pitowski, but also makes him face a side of himself that he's always kept under wraps for years.
When all is said and done, it begs the question: "Who's the one that's really being recruited?"

Summary
Before Jones leaves the crip platoon, John Bowman warns him of the notorious Slovacek of platoon 2032. Too bad there's no one to warn Slovacek about his arrival. Nothing could ever prepare him for the fuel that Jones would add to his fire... or just how capable that fire could spread beyond either of their control.

Summary
On the very first week of boot camp, Slovacek has an unexpected, arousing dream where he meets and is seduced by Camille, a female version of Cameron that shakes him to his core in terms of what it actually means about his own sexuality to the point where he's not sure whether to be more terrified or pissed off at the smaller recruit because of it. When random visions of Cameron's alluring feminine form torment him for weeks during the most inopportune moments, including losing sleep over it, he has to decide whether he can get over his internalized homophobia and come to terms with the strange new feelings about the very same recruit he bullied since day one OR keep living in denial and avoiding Cam at all costs even if he slowly loses his mind over it.

The one where I make up my own fake scenario of that specific BTS pic of Slovacek holding Cam in drag as Carnie Wilson from Wilson Phillips to scratch that itch in my brain until the day that deleted scene of Fem!Cam seducing the platoon ever gets released... sigh.

Summary
Cameron felt too aware that they were alone, of the other recruits sleeping a few feet away, of the fact they could get caught in their sergeant’s office after hours.
With a start, he realized Jones was waiting for him to reply. Cameron glanced down at where his hand rested limply around Jones’s wrist. He could feel Jones’s heartbeat underneath his fingertips.
“We shouldn't be here.” Cameron whispered.
OR
Cameron sneaks away to the sergeants office to find out more information about Jones, unfortunately Jones follows him and makes his night a lot more interesting.

Summary
Cameron Cope was a shy boy. He was sixteen – a junior in high school. He was supposed to be a sophomore but he tested out of second grade.
Nicholas Slovacek wasn’t a shy boy. He was seventeen but acted much older. That’s what happens when you come from a broken home – that’s what his school counselor said anyway.
The two of them lived in small apartments beside one another. They each had their own problems at home and at school, but maybe the burden of living could feel lighter if they were together.
