By 9:14 AM the next morning, he has:
- Dumped his girlfriend,
- Proposed marriage to Buck,
_ Emotionally compromised an entire fire engine,
- Held Buck hostage in radiology, and
- Turned a Level 1 Trauma Center into a live studio audience.The thing is, Buck would’ve handled this better if Eddie had:
- NOT proposed marriage in the middle of a gas leak,
- NOT immediately started flirting like a menace,
- NOT weaponized ER paperwork,
- NOT trapped him in a CT room,
- NOT weaponized eye contact,
- NOT somehow become hotter in a hospital gown, and
- NOT had an entire emergency department acting as witnesses.Evan Buckley, is, in a word, doomed.

“Just rest now,” Bobby says. His voice retains the authority of a commanding officer — the tone that Eddie has been drilled to obey since he was seventeen. But behind it is something else. Something with more worry, more anguish.
“Wait,” Eddie says. Memories hide behind frosted glass in his mind. Something is missing, something important. His eyes sweep the room, searching every corner for the one person who isn’t there.
The question breaks through the frosted glass. “Bobby, where is he?”
“Eddie…” Bobby says slowly. “We can talk about it later when you’re feeling better.”
“Bobby,” Eddie says, slow and calm despite the panic racing through his veins. “I need to know.”

"Yeah?" Chim asks, leaning back in his chair. "Got any of your own?" His tone is teasing; it's obvious he doesn't think the answer is yes, but he and Hen both perk up at the sight of the pink that makes its way onto Buck's cheeks.
"Uh," Buck huffs, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just — I was a nanny for a while. Or, well—"
"A manny?" Chim asks, delighted.
Buck laughs. "Yeah, sure. A manny."
OR the one where the members of Station 118 have no idea that Buck is married with a kid.
