Summary
The knight glanced behind himself before taking a seat on a fallen tree trunk across from the vampire and leaned back, spreading his legs comfortably as his eyes trailed over Astarion. He took in the elf’s demeanor and body language, attempting to gauge how he was feeling. He seemed tense, as if restraining himself, his chest rising and falling with measured breaths. The tiefling watched curiously as the tendons strained over his knuckles as he curled and uncurled his fist, signaling his impatience. Xavier met the vampire’s eyes, feeling heat spark in him from the look on his face alone. He took a settling breath of his own before saying, "Touch yourself." Astarion's brow furrowed as the words registered.
"What?"
"You heard me, don’t make me repeat myself.” He said plainly, a sliver of his noble upbringing bleeding through in the way he held himself in that moment. The tiefling shifted, communicating his own impatience when the elf failed to respond or comply. “If I have to tell you again, I will drag this out as long as I see fit." He explained easily, his tone collected and calm.
Or, Astarion enjoys being told what to do more than he thought he would.

In such a small space, Otto wasn’t able to escape the way the muscles in their back moved and flexed with Theo as they degloved themself from the suit. His eyes fixated on the jagged scar just left of their spine, recalling the altercation between them that had led to such an injury. He was silently thankful that they had inherited an accelerated healing attribute from Spider-Man. They struggled their way into a pair of sweats, hissing and groaning in pain as they pulled on a shirt. He noticed them favoring their right arm and raised a brow.
“What’s wrong with your arm?”
“It’s dislocated, thanks, by the way.”
“Happy to be of service,” they looked back over to see that he had once again lit up his cigar. They looked absolutely done with his shit.
“You’re a real prick, you know that?” He smirked and took the cigar out of his mouth.
“I just have that sort of effect on good guys, current company included.” They huffed in amusement.
“Funny, too. Now I remember why I thought you were charming.”
“You think I’m charming?”
“Past tense, Otto.” They groused.
“Hm,” he nodded, taking another puff from his cigar. “Hobble over here, spider brat. Let me fix your arm.”

A plan that, from the very first moments of meeting Tav, crumbled like cinders right before Astarion's eyes. For with each tearing of his inner walls with her words and charm and care, the rubble repaired the masonry of his heart. Each step of the plan mended and broke to her in ways he hadn't even realized until far later when he realized just how incredible she truly was.
