Summary
"You are very important. Everyone is, every one of God's creations. We are all made in his image. His image of love. A-and everything we do, whether we realize it or not, is done in his image. So that love is everywhere. That love for you is everywhere. But something tells me you don't see that..."
Reader is a type of a guardian to the small village but no one really knows why, or what she is protecting them from. She is connected strongly to the Vatican even though she herself is not 'religious' it seems.
This is a story of falling in love and survival.

Summary
For months now it seems Reader and Father Paul have been secretly dancing around each other. You were bitter towards him for some reason or another, but it's been so long one can't even remember what it was about. Now it always feels like a rubber-band is around each of you; it lets you come so close before springing you back to the start and never allowing the both of you to really solve your issues...

AU - What if Riley had fled Crockett Island at the end of Episode 5? Struggling to come to terms with the change Pruitt insists he "accept", Riley finds himself in serious trouble on the mainland though his salvation comes in the form of a blue eyed, brunette who seems to know an awful lot about vampires. While he takes her offer and attempts to control the blood lust, a certain black haired priest isn't exactly giving up on him.

A collection of oneshots in no specific order about Father Paul & Grace... stuff I've thought of after writing the bigger stories or ideas for cute things that people have given me :) I'm starting to collect these into one so they don't drown out everything else in the tag!
Any content warnings will be in the chapter notes, and tags will update as I go.

Summary
This Riley Flynn is not the same one in the show. This one is broken and fearful of Crocket island. Traumatized from early childhood as well as the car accident, Riley Flynn returns in worse shape than anyone has ever seen him. His body is slowly deteriorating due to the neglect, and he's slowly killing himself. Father Paul and Annie set up a plan to help the boy, even it means re-traumatizing him.
I'm bashing some characters in this story, but in the show, most of them were very good people. Except for Beverely Keane, she is just a horrible person. I just upped how cruel she is.

Summary
This was God’s plan, it would seem.
It was impetuous of John, really. Careless, even, to keep the doors open at such a time of need. He could have simply taken Flynn aside, reasoned to his innermost beliefs, saved him the pain of death-- but the mixture of hunger, the sound of the other man’s heart beat, the sweet scent of blood--
Any man, of faith or not, could hardly resist such an invitation.

Summary
“That’s bullshit.”
Fallon froze. The pure venom in his tone chilled them to the bone. Did he just…? Turning around, they regarded the priest warily. “Come again?”
Father Paul towered over them. Something insidious swam in the depths of his dark eyes. The gravity of this situation dawned on Fallon far too late. Father Paul grabbed their arm with his hand not holding the Fanta bottle.
“The Lord sent you here, to me, for a reason. I know it’s His will because I can feel it.”
It should’ve been a hilarious visual – a goth holding a pitcher of vodka whilst confronted by a priest carting around a massive bottle of orange soda. It should’ve been the start of a bad joke. But the hellfire in Father Paul’s eyes transfixed them in terror.
....................A traveling queer blogger and journalist, Fallon Addams (they/them) immediately ruffles feathers on Crockett Island with their androgynous looks and goth attire. Dealing with conversion-happy Christian authorities is a typical Tuesday for Fallon. What they're not prepared for is the whisperings of a cult on Crockett and the local priest's spiraling obsession with them.

Summary
Catherine Clark returns to her island hometown intending to die along with it. Orphaned and widowed, she finds solace only in her little bakery and in evenings spent with the town's Catholic priest, the Monsignor John Michael Pruitt. Their weekly meetings are made up of records and cakes, new recipes, a tipple hidden from the eyes of Beverly Keane. Oh, Catherine knows she's in Crockett doing penance, but what could be the harm in this lonely burst of light, this one foothold on humanity and the world of the living?
After Pruitt fails to return from an ill-advised pilgrimage, St. Patrick’s is given under the temporary care of the younger, more dynamic Father Hill, and he is not content to let Catherine sit in the back pew alone to do her time. Through visits to the bakery, private confession, talks before the altar after Sunday Mass, Paul affixes himself to Catherine's life, somehow pulling at the knot of her secrets while keeping his own mysteriously close to the chest... But secrets on Crockett have a way of washing up on the shore, and when the truth is finally revealed, Catherine is forced to make the choice between life and death, between past and the monstrous dream of an eternal future.

Summary
There's an allure to places like this, one that manifests in your soul after years of the physical and mental horrors of an urban jungle. It really just makes you want to fuck off the nearest island and work until you can’t bear the silence any longer.
So I did.I still have so many questions about what took place during Lent in 2021, and what happened to the man who took me in. I've moved, but I can't escape spring's chill, nor the salty wind which still clings to me. Everywhere I go feels too close.
Dear reader, I've detailed my account of Crockett Island's final weeks and my time with the man they called Father Paul Hill.

Summary
Crockett Island is a very calm and peaceful place. Just like a beautiful and imposing oak, and just as the oak, the island hides a rotten inner, putrefied secrets just in plain sigh waiting the perfect time to fall apart.
Sometimes the broken things can be fixed easily by the right person.
