Summary
Kyojuro was like the sun itself, pulling Akaza in and making him want to bask in his warmth, even if it meant he would be burned in the end. He had to have him by his side. Killing him wasn't an option, it never truly was, and Akaza would do anything to fight by his side forever, even if it meant joining the demon slayers.
What a shame for the demon slayers, then, that they'd never allow him to do that.
Sometimes corruption was a sweet caress and earnest promise, an unwavering dedication to someone else that transcended the demon-human divide and the war they were fighting. And when one side would kill you both for daring to love each other while the other would welcome you with open arms, well... It wasn't a very difficult decision to make, was it?

Summary
If there's a universe where Owen can kill three demons without remorse, then surely, there must be a universe where he remembers the child he used to be and chooses mercy. This series started off with just a reunion fix-it fic and has quickly spiraled into an 'everyone lives' au, where much of it takes place post-Maze. These guys got some trauma to heal, and it's about time they start working on it, huh?

OR -- I wrote a chatfic like it's 2020, except it's a TMA/Mechs crossover that really never should've left the dark crevices of my brain that it crawled out of. Featuring a vast array of homosexual hijinks, innumerable octokittens, emotional constipation to such a degree that no amount of laxatives could fix it, and a fuckload of explosions.
ALSO -- This fic contains violence. And character death. Personally, I wouldn't say that it warrants any archive warnings, as I personally wouldn't consider it graphic and, although it is character death, the characters in question are kind of immortal, so, y'know. But I'm using 'chose not to use warnings' because others might consider it graphic or MCD. Please bear this in mind, and look after yourself :]
