Aventurine hums as he slips a finger into the waistband of his boxers, dragging it idly along the hem. “Mm, I heard you loud and clear, doc. Though if this is your way of asking to see me naked, I’d say your bedside manner could use some work.”
His smile curls, “If you were in such a rush to get me out of my clothes, you could’ve said so from the start.”
Or, a night of unbelievably hot sex is just what the doctor ordered.

"Is that an accusation, Grand Scribe?" Kaveh breathed, a breathless, wicked little tilt returning to the corner of his mouth. "Because from where I'm sitting, you're the one who put your glass in my space."
"A gesture of hospitality," Alhaitham murmured. His thumb gave a slow, deliberate rub against the sensitive skin of Kaveh's inner wrist, right over the frantic fluttering of his pulse. "Though I suppose you've always been prone to misinterpreting my intentions."
"Then make them clear." Kaveh’s voice was barely a whisper now, thick with a sudden, intoxicating heat. He tilted his chin up, a subtle, devastating invitation. "Stop being so damn clinical and just say it."
Alhaitham didn’t say a word. He didn't need to.

Alhaitham froze.
He stared at Kaveh’s wrecked expression and then down at his own finger still wedged between the pages. Slowly, he slid the finger a little deeper into the fold, rubbing along the inner seam.
Kaveh cried out, hips bucking as the invisible finger crooked inside him, pressing firmly against his inner walls.
“…I see,” Alhaitham murmured. The pieces clicked together behind those eyes. “So that’s what this has been about. Every time I trace the pages… every time I press into the spine or between the folds…”
He experimentally slid his finger back and forth in the crease again.
OR
A completely innocent touch on pages directly translates to a sensual one.

“Did he empty himself into you?” The low murmur against his ear sends goosebumps racing down Aventurine’s spine. He’s not touching Aventurine. He’s not, but it feels like he is. Like Ratio is dismantling him piece by piece without even trying.
"Yeah,” Aventurine whispers hoarsely, shame bubbling in his throat. “Twice.”
—Or, Ratio pays Aventurine a visit after a one-night stand and proves to be more curious about it than Aventurine expects.
