“There were many myths and legends and superstitions surrounding this particular wood. Old sayings of a creature with a humanlike head and torso but a snake-like lower half. They said its head was adored with the horns of something akin to a dragon, that its talons were sharp enough to slash through any knight's armor. The tail it had instead of legs was tipped with poisonous spikes...and the local Mother’s warned their children that anyone who wandered to far in the woods would become a victim of its devilish torments.
This, of course, was complete and utter poppycock, in Idia’s humble opinion.”

Philza certainly didn’t know what it was like to find someone’s lost possessions and wonder if they wanted them back. Technoblade had no clue what it was like to travel though the strands of time. Only Wilbur Soot knew what it was like to return a lost stuffed animal to a child. Only he knew that joy in their eyes, that smile that would inevitably spread over their small faces. His family, for all their merit, knew nothing of humans. Much less the joys simple toys brought to them.

People held different views on murder, depending on how it suited them. Was that not the case with everything? Everyone found ways to twist words to find their own wants and beliefs.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
