A princess is not powerless. She is simply fighting with the wrong weapons. She has been fighting the only way they allowed her to fight, and she is beginning to understand what that means. He is beginning to understand it too.

And between them the oldest story in the world unfolds again, the fruit and the fall and the question that has outlasted every civilization bold enough to ask it, which is simply this: if God is everywhere, then where exactly is God when it counts.
