Summary
As if being cheated on and getting left for someone else wasn't bad enough, the new couple being celebrated by the public and hyped on social media, because they just so happen to be two of the brightest rising stars of Sweden's film industry, does leave behind two particularly bitter exes.
When Prince Wilhelm and Simon Eriksson run into each other at a party, they are still very much heartbroken and determined to get their partners back. Or at least get thoroughly back at them. On a desperate whim they decide that pretending to be a couple is a genius way to do just that. Due to unforeseen circumstances (and Wille's temper), things get slightly out of hand. If they don't want to lose face and keep a shred of dignity, Wille and Simon might just have to out-act their exes.

Summary
It's been 7 months since Wille and Simon drove away from Hillerska and towards their shared future. Wille deciding to renounce his title at 18 didn't solve all of their problems, but they had built a much more stable and healthy relationship once they were free from the weight of the crown.
Even being long distance, they managed to disgust their friends daily being sickeningly in love. Wille says he can take the teasing - they earned the right to be That Annoying Couple after everything they went through in their first year.
Year 2 is going great though. They have good friends, like their schools, and their relationship is solid. They even have plans to go to university together once they graduate.
They should have known things were going too well. When a bombshell article rocks Sweden just after Christmas, everyone's world turns upside down.
The Royal Court is exposed. The people are revolting. And Wille and Simon don't know what to do, but at least they'll do it together, right?
Can be read as a standalone fic. Parts 1 and 3 of the series are supplemental social media posts that fill in plot points and are just for fun.

Felice considered it for a moment. “Well, I don’t know. Do you like boys?”
That was the one thing Wilhelm couldn’t seem to answer, no matter how hard he tried. So instead of answering it, he let go of a sigh.
“What makes you say this, sweety?” She asked softly, caringly.
“Something with Simon,” he explained. When she frowned, he added, making sure to keep his voice low enough for only her to hear: “I did this weird thing yesterday. This… sex thing. To him. And I can’t stop thinking about it.”

Wilhelm Löwen walks in, and Simon’s heart stops.
Simon may have had a crush on Wilhelm when the show first started airing, is the thing. As in, he followed @WilhelmLowenBase for several years after the actor left the Disney sitcom he starred in to do Dark Knights instead, and may or may not have had a poster on his wall. Or three.
Knowing that his silent prayer to not make his cheekbones flushed is going unanswered, Simon nods at each of them in turn. “Hi, everyone,” he says, and he thinks his voice sounds even enough. “I’m Simon. It’s great to meet you all.”Or: two years after Wilhelm disappoints his acting family by quitting his starring role on the critically acclaimed teen soap 'Dark Knights', his replacement has more than a few unkind things to say about him in the press. When he returns to the show for the final season, the showrunners decide there's only one way to avoid the media storm of their feud... to pretend it doesn't exist, because Wilhelm and Simon are actually friends. Best friends.
