V takes an embarrassingly long time to process the innuendo. Heat quickly rises to his cheeks as soon as the puzzle piece falls into place, stuttering through the wave of embarrassment. “Haven’t you heard? Three’s a crowd,” Johnny laughed, putting his sunglasses on, despite the fact it was night. V chose not to say anything, figuring it was better to just ignore him for right now.
“It is not safe,” Takemura shook his head. “I appreciate the offer though, thank you V.”
“Come on, a few hours out of your dingy hideout won’t kill you. I’ll feed you, put you up for the night, and you can clean up,” he offered, “I’ll even come pick you up.”
