    Summary

What if Neil's father caught up to him in Millport? What if Agent Browning had seen more of Nathaniel in Neil after Baltimore, and figured the FBI could use the help?

    OR

Neil works for the FBI to hunt down the criminals they can’t catch, in return for staying out of jail after Baltimore. Agent Browning isn't all that good at his job, Matt just wants to be friends with his squirelly roommate, and Andrew is the first person Neil doesn't want to lie to.

    Summary

“It’s a little difficult to think clearly with a knife pressed to his jugular, but Neil manages to wonder if he should’ve let the FBI send him to jail instead of here.

It makes sense, unfortunately, that after finding Neil bruised, burnt, and bleeding out on the cold cement floor of his father’s basement, Special Agent Todd Browning might have had some concerns for Neil’s health.

Neil just didn’t expect that concern to include his mental health, too.

Browning had offered Neil a choice that day - after listing out, like, fifty reasons why he thought Neil might benefit from some therapy.

Life in prison or a sixty day stay in a psych ward, followed by freedom.

Neil thought the answer was obvious, but his new roommate still hasn’t removed his blade from Neil’s throat - which Neil is now realizing isn’t actually a knife, but a razor blade taped to the butt of a toothbrush - so he’s rethinking that answer a bit.”

    Summary

As the end of the summer approaches, Al realises that they are expecting for something to change. For him to move on. To start doing whatever it is that he is going to be doing with his life. He doesn't really know what that's supposed to be.

Al has never been a problem child, comfortable between the undeniable brillance of Lily's individualism and the force of James' emotions. His time at Hogwarts is too busy, too eventful for people to notice the ways he doesn't fit into the molds of normal. He doesn't really need to, anyway; he has his best friends, Scorpius, gentle and painfully loyal, and Rose, polished and quietly brave, and as long as he's in Hogwarts, there's nothing and no one else he really needs to have.

But Seventh Year ends, and Al needs to learn to live in a world where he can't keep the things he wants and can't seem to want the things he should.

A tale of loneliness, friendship, and finding a place in the world.

    Summary

A very dark story about Raven Neil. How he was conditioned as a child, but part of him always rebelled against it.

Some things unfold differently than in canon.

In this version, Neil is THE best striker, and Riko hates him for it.

Side notes: In my story, Riko is not the main villain. He is a minor wannabe antagonist, a cheap imitation of the kind Nathaniel grew up with. But still gruel

Also, Andrew is not medicated and the relationship with Aaron is better than in canon. Not warm, God no - we’re talking about the Minyards - but tolerable.

His father would have given him away for free if pride had allowed it. But the Moriyamas valued transactions, contracts. Business. Everything had a prince.

    Even children.

    "Five hundred thousand dollars."

Nathaniel heard the number one evening from the staircase.

    His mother said nothing.

    His father accepted.

    Summary

Nathaniel Wesninski was too young when he was covered in his mother's blood, watching her body burn to cinders on the California beachside. His father's arm rests on his shoulder; there is a cleaver in his hand, a cruel reminder of what he has done.

A decade later, he stands in a cold, dark room, cleaver in hand, staring down at the splattered body bag below him. Evermore awaits him, once his job is done. The Butcher's resemblance has never been more evident than it had been then.

Nathaniel realises, in hindsight, it had all made sense.
