Summary
Robert Lanyon has been an ice skater for longer than he can remember. The sound of blades scratching against the ice, the pressure of hundreds of eyes upon him and the constant control over every single part of his body are what he had always known. It was his life, and he was used to it.
What he still wasn't used to, was seeing Edward's Hyde ugly face mocking him every time he was skating. If only this shrimp could accept that he was just a loser!Edward Hyde, for his part, remembered when he decided to start ice-skating, and absolutely nothing could ever convince him that it wasn't the best fucking choice he made in his whole life. Ice skating was freedom, and he was flying over it! He was the freest man in the universe, the master of the ice and the ruler of the world!
But most importantly, he was able to make Hastie Robert Lanyon go insane at the same time as ice-skating, and it was perfection! It was so funny to annoy this asshole that it was almost ridiculous! Just as Grian was ready to turn around and leave, he took another glance at Scar’s eyes… lighting up with elation, “Alright, Grian! I always struggle with getting on the ice, so you gotta help me out a bit, even with that support we got.”
Grian nodded, sliding the plastic onto the ice, before he started forward again. After slight remorse, he placed his foot onto the surface, and then the second. Stumbling for a moment, something unexpected clicked in his mind, and he began to move with coordinated success. The blades glided against the ice, spinning him back to face Scar again.
“Wow,” Scar breathed.

Summary
After John Laurens dies during the war he finds himself as a ghost, unable to interact with anyone save for Alexander Hamilton's oldest son. And so he takes the role of Philip's imaginary friend and decides to make the most of his second chance.
_______________________Essentially a story that chronologizes and interprets the events of Philip's life growing up, but this time with John Laurens as his guide. Largely based off of the musical instead of history. It's a way of taking the stories of these two poor boys who deserved better and smacking more idealistic and heartwarming closure onto them. Rated T for swearing and a couple heavy topics.
