Summary
When it comes to Hero City, Dragon Boy would rank District 45 as possibly the least exciting place to be stationed for a mission. After a week of mind-numbing peace and quiet, Dragon Boy's attempt to help a 12-year-old Xin Ya backfires and plunges her into Fear, an adversary neither of them has faced. Forced to team up with MG's revitalized star, E-Soul, Dragon Boy works to uncover a scheme involving District 45, Fear, and the return of someone presumed dead. All the while, he races against the clock to bring Xin Ya back home safe.
What starts as clash of ideals morphs into an unlikely connection between the MG duo, as E-Soul inadvertently helps Dragon Boy come to terms with what it means to be a hero.

Summary
It's been a bit less than an hour since Dragon Boy served Smile what he had coming for a long time. He lies down in Old Rock's office, watching his ranking skyrocket and surpass Smile's. E-Soul will be on his way to Headquarters for an impromptu meeting any minute now, and Dragon Boy can't wait to drag him up to his new floor at Hero Tower for a well-earned celebration. He pulls up his phone and texts the robot:
"stop by my place and bring me a spare shirt"
E-Soul leaves him on read.

Summary
The cockpit hatch opens. Isagi opens his eyes in turn, startled and a bit embarrassed, only to find himself staring at an equally startled-and-embarrassed face. Pink eyes, slitted pupils, the jagged edges of his teeth just visible with the way his mouth gapes slightly open in surprise at finding Isagi in the jet already. Fluffy hair. Small hands.
They say nothing to each other for a few awkwardly long seconds before Isagi clears his throat, dismissing the jet's wrist braces and discarding the unnecessary thought of 'ah, cute,' and says, "Um, hi. Can I help you?"
Isagi is a grounded pilot. Kurona is a fish out of water. Together they steal a jet.

He huffs. “That’s rich, coming from you.”
“How so?”
Kunigami rolls his neck, cracking the joints. Despite his vexed smirk, Isagi tenses. Intimidating him gives Kunigami a twisted sense of pleasure.
“Like you didn’t spell out what I owed you yesterday to score that damn goal,” he retorts, preparing to stand. “Like you don’t manipulate everyone to serve you, friend or foe. Every single one of us is currency to you—a means to an end.”
