Summary
Light Yagami’s favorite things are his rituals. He’s not an idiot, he knows he’s ill, but he’s been able to function perfectly well just engaging in his rituals, eating the same thing every day (and he means everyday), washing his hands after touching every door handle, and organizing his closet (obsessively. Compulsively. From one color to the next).
Unfortunately, a spectacularly bored and world renowned detective is about to make completing those rituals very difficult.
Light Yagami is about to be kidnapped.

Summary
L pressed his forehead against Light's, carefully analysing every minute change of expression on his face—he was about as flustered as he expected, "Don't tell me you've never kissed someone before? You do know what this game is, yes?" L teased, moving his hand to grab his chin.
"Of course I have! I've always been popular with women, why would you ever think otherwise?" Admittedly, this came out slightly more defensive than Light had planned; L was by far the most likely one out of the two to have not kissed anyone, not him.
"Well, if you're such an avid kisser, why are you blushing? This should be commonplace for you, no? All those girls wanting you is probably where some of that God complex of yours comes from," L said, inching closer to Light's lips; close enough to feel him breathe. And exactly where we wanted him.
OR
L and Light end up playing 7 minutes in heaven, and L takes this as an opportunity to get a confession.

Summary
Rem wanted Misa's happiness. Misa thought Light was her happiness. Rem thought Misa was delusional. In good faith, she put her trust in L instead to save Misa.
With both Kiras finally caught, everyone assumed everything would be over after Light's execution and Misa's admittance to an asylum for the criminally insane.
Clearly that wasn't the case when four years later, Light is found at Orchard beach by none other than Matt and Mello. It seemed that peace wasn't apart of the equation for L thanks to this new development. Not only will he have to juggle the broken shell that was once Light Yagami - he has to try and keep the ex-Kira out of the jaws of the CIA and other forces who don't appreciate their prized guinea pig slipping out of their grasp.
