The first time, it was annoying, but Nolan was able to grit his teeth and let it slide, because he was nothing if not grateful for Allen's hospitality, given Nolan's past... mistakes.
The second time took more patience, some concentrated deep breathing, but no amount of effort could block out the words he was hearing, the cooing, the pleading, the grunting, the slapping.

Logan can feel them watching him as he yanks the box of cigarettes out of his back pocket. It feels good to be wanted. He’s not a weapon to them, or at least not to Vanessa. And the way Wade feels about his weapons, well, Logan doesn’t really mind being a weapon to him. He nocks the cigarette in his mouth, fishes around for his lighter, and flicks it open one handed.
It’s funny. He does this more times a day than any human should be able to withstand without dying of seven different types of cancer. To him it’s a familiar motion, the muscle memory grounding and getting him out of his head. But even with his eyes closed on a deep inhale, he can feel them looking at him. Wanting him. And it’s the same way he’s been wanted before and wherever his Scott and Jean are, they at least have each other and that maybe makes it okay to want this.
(He wonders if this universe’s Scott and Jean wanted him like that. He wonders if this Logan ever found out what happened in his past. For the first time since being here, he kind of wants to find out.)
Logan exhales, eyes slipping half open to land right on Vanessa. “How much blood are you willing to get on your furniture, sweetheart?”
