    Toji is beautiful, almost heavenly in the blurred haze of Naoya’s vision. It’s the only thing Naoya can think as he gazes up at him with tears in his eyes. Beautiful. He is cruel, but he is gorgeous, and perhaps his cruelty makes him even more so. Naoya knows what Toji is capable of—he can snap his neck right here. Similarly, he could have pulled the trigger when he had his gun stuffed down Naoya’s throat. But he doesn’t, and he didn’t.
