Summary
When Sokka moves from Alaska to Massachusetts with his family, he doesn’t expect to end up next door to two loud neighbours who all they seem to do is fight. He definitely doesn’t expect to befriend Zuko, a quiet, angry boy who makes Sokka feel how he’s never felt before.
Together, they’ll show eachother what love feels like, and how close that feels to pain.
All Zuko knows is how to fight. It doesn’t matter if the love heals or burns; it’s all a fight, a fight he can’t win, but he can’t give up. He doesn’t know if he can trust this new stranger with bright blue eyes and a far too trusting smile. Zuko already has a life, a life with Zhao. And Sokka threatens all of that.
The feeling of love, desire, creates such impossible happiness, but it is all-consuming, and can’t be held. Like trying to capture the sun with cupped hands, but the warmth it provides is so beautiful, and so temporary, because if he stays like this, he’ll burn.

Summary
“Don’t you explore the other on campus cafes?” Zuko can’t help but ask one day as Sokka approaches, which seems to catch Sokka off guard. “There’s one by that physics building.”
“Now why would I check those out?” Sokka asks with wide eyes, before his lips form that coy smile. “Why would I bother when I know I can see you at this one?” Zuko holds back a groan.
“What do you want.” He asks, more of a statement than a question, which makes Sokka clutch his chest dramatically.
Or: Zuko works at an on-campus cafe and Sokka is an Engineering student who's made it his mission to come to this exact location almost every single day. Why? Zuko doesn't know. All he knows is that Sokka is sometimes a pain in his ass. And he's kind of.. nice too.

“You know,” Sokka said slowly, “for somebody who acts superior all the time, you seem kind of miserable.”
The other man went very still. For one awful second, Sokka thought he’d crossed some invisible line. Then Zuko huffed quietly, almost like a laugh but not quite.
“Goodnight, Sokka.”
He brushed past him toward the door. Their shoulders collided lightly as Zuko passed, and he caught how cold he felt through the thin rehearsal shirt. Sokka stayed there another moment, staring at his reflection of the room in the mirrors. Then he looked toward the speaker, the discarded water bottle, the untouched food sitting half-hidden inside Zuko’s bag pocket before the zipper had fallen shut.
And for reasons Sokka couldn’t explain yet, walking away from the studio felt much more difficult than it should have.

Zuko is the best dancer at Agna Qel Conservatory. He’s also exhausted, starving, and emotionally volatile. Sokka plays hockey, thinks ballet is ridiculous, and keeps accidentally running into Zuko while picking up his sister from rehearsals. Unfortunately, the more Sokka sees of the ballet world, the less he understands why someone would willingly destroy themselves for it.Bookmarked by mlee04004

Summary
One day while out on a patrol with the whole family, Nightwing gets hit by a strange psychic attack that causes him to go crazy and start attacking Bruce. While trying to get him pinned down Damian hears Dick say something that forever changes the way he looks at his father and his older brother. But because he said it in Romani (and Damian was the only one who ever took the time to learn his brother's native language) he now unwillingly is the only person outside of his brother himself to carry the weight of his brothers secret.
