Izuku wasn't having a good time or life in general. And when he finally thinks it's the end of all his suffering, someone gives him a chance to start over, this time in a reality different from his own, where people say "pup" instead of "child," there are more than 2 genders, and a bunch of bizarre customs.
It's not even close to what he expected for his future, but he intends to make it work, and who knows, maybe he'll finally get people who care about him.

Run as far in the opposite direction as possible.
But as he takes these leaps away, he quickly finds a short-term solution to maybe 3 of his about 17 existing problems whilst creating 4 more: Vigilantism.
