Summary
Veronica Sawyer is a princess in a tower--she's been locked up there since age fourteen. Why? She's not all too sure. Maybe it's because of her magic-like powers, which she doesn't fully understand either.
Every now and then, an unfamiliar face pops up, trying to get the princess to marry them. Veronica is very uninterested in all these men trying to gain her favour.
She thinks she'll be alone forever. That is, until someone she hadn't ever expected shows up in her tower; a girl, around her age. Veronica doesn't know this girl, but she's interested. Very interested.

slightly important info before you read:
- this is a female jd fic! the girl that climbs up the tower is not any canonically female character in heathers, it's jd in girl form. why? cause i felt like it fit lol
- the characters seem to be in a medieval-esque setting but they still swear. why? i kinda don't know, i guess i felt like it fit with the characters
- this fic is slow burn which i've never written before so basically: fic might be bad, sorry about that (hey that rhymed. sort of)

I stare at her, because she’s so pretty like this. She’s still got her flannel shirt on, but apart from that it’s just a black shirt (which looks very flattering on her, trust me, I went shopping for it with her) and her usual pair of boxershorts.
I trace her jaw with my finger and she leans her head back, giving me full access to lean forward and press kisses to her neck. She breathes heavily, clearly aware we can’t make too much noise, which is a shame.
