Summary
There are four things that went wrong with tonight.
One - the outfit you obsessively picked for your date tonight got misplaced at the cleaners; those were the pants you loved the most and the top was just low cut enough to give a glimpse that kept them coming back.
Two - your replacement outfit was too tight in the worst ways. The inseams dragged against your thighs. The bras under wire kept poking out. The shirt just isn't sitting the way you wanted. All in all, it wasn't the outfit you planned first and now it sucks.
Three - when you texted your date that you were running behind, they were very understanding. Just told you they'd meet you there. Which isn't the worst part. The worst part is going outside and immediately being completely drenched by the downpour that absolutely was not in the forecast.
Four - you've been sat at the table for long enough that the waitress is giving you the look

The Driver survives his encounter with Bernie, but still doesn’t think Irene is safe. He comes back for her and Benicio, and the three of them leave LA. To escape the mob, but mostly to start a life together. A slow burn about falling in love and building a new life together. With smut.
Most of this fic is G rated, but there are explicit chapters. Those chapters will have an explicit warning on them, if you want to skip and just read the rest!

Summary
Driver likes Colt. It’s sort of despite himself. Colt is loud, and talkative, and free with his touches. Normally– especially in combination– these are all traits Driver hates to have directed at his person.
(Driver’s hearing a human heartbeat. He didn’t know it could sound like that, from this close).
Still, Colt becomes something special to Driver’s life one unremarkable day on set.
Or, Driver gets his first proper hug from his coworker.

“Hey, um.” And Colt pauses, because what the hell is he doing. He’s asked plenty of people out, but hardly ever this fast, and almost never when they technically work together. But, well. Crews change between movies. If it goes south, he can keep his head down until filming wraps and, hopefully, never see Driver again.
If it goes south. Which he hopes it doesn’t. God, he really hopes it doesn’t. “Wanna grab drinks later?”
Driver’s gaze flicks over him. A full up-and-down, but it’s hard to tell if he’s checking Colt out or sizing him up like one would an opponent. He reaches out, just to brush a bit of hair out of Colt’s face, and smiles again. “Sure.”
Colt punches the air. “Yes! Yessssss!” Then he catches himself, meets Driver’s — amused, maybe slightly fond — gaze and says, quieter, “I mean, uh. Cool. Awesome. After shooting, then?”

It’s so often like this between them, a wordless exchange that has Colt bending to Driver’s will. He’s melting into Driver’s hold now, pressing into the hand on his cheek and sinking downwards into the one that’s settled onto his hip, still pinned against the back of the trailer, away from prying eyes. Driver nudges his knee inbetween Colt’s own until he can press himself in closer, slot his leg between Colt’s with some degree of pressure and nip lightly at his lower lip.
“Five minutes,” Driver says quietly, into Colt’s mouth, and Colt feels weak in the knees.
