Summary
"Captain Redfield, sir?”
"You said he’s been here for how long?” He goes back to following the ball’s arc, more to avoid looking at that familiar face than anything else.
"Four days, sir,” she says, choosing to look at Chris instead of the man on the other side of the glass. He doesn’t blame her.
"Mh,” he hums, closes his eyes, massages at the tension gathering behind them with thumb and forefinger. "And you’re sure it’s him?”
Dr. Gyimah coughs her hesitation, her spine straightening a little. "We’re… fairly certain, sir.”
Fifteen years after their final confrontation in Kijuju, Chris Redfield is faced with the specter of a man he'd killed himself—Albert Wesker.

Summary
You consider your options. You could kick him out, leave him to roast in the midday sun. You could take the gun from your back and put him out of his misery.
You don't.
In the midst of the Cataclysm, the protagonist is forced to confront many things by virtue of the strangers in his home. One of them intrigues him most of all.

“The virus is progressing. Who knows—maybe we wait until then, and you drop dead.”
Zeno eyes him, taking another drag. “You’d have mentioned that already if it were true.”
Victor shrugs. “It’s your life. The Connections will send someone else to play middleman, and I’ll continue my research; it makes no difference to me.” He turns away once more, coat fluttering around his knees, and places the syringe on one of three steel rolling trays.
“Coercion of a superior is a dangerous game, Doctor.” Zeno stubs out his cigarette on the sole of his shoe.
Doctor Victor Gideon has a very special treatment in order for his favorite patient.

Summary
In the wake of the Festival of Termina, only six remain standing.
Left with nothing but a burdensome sense of duty, Daan offers to shelter them; although strangers, circumstance has forced an intimacy between each of them.
The skeletons in his closet—Elise, the Baron, his childhood, and perhaps most importantly the Pocketcat—are innumerable, and he believes himself irredeemable. Those around him beg to differ.

Summary
“How do you feel about being called daddy? I think it may be… sort of cathartic for you. For more than one reason.” Viktor’s expression is neutral when Jayce pulls back to stare at him. Perhaps mildly inquisitive, at most.
Jayce, meanwhile, feels as if the floor has just fallen out beneath him. His brain fails to work—it takes several seconds for him to catch up with any of the words that Viktor has said to him. When he clocks back into his body, he does not expect to feel so aroused that he might pass out.
Or: after overhearing schoolyard insults from a colleague, Jayce's old gender-related insecurities rise to the surface. Viktor's solution? Gender-affirming daddy kink.

Summary
His thumb traces slow circles around the nub of bone in your wrist.
“Kim?"
He pulls his hand back. “I’m sorry, I’ve been drinking.” He smiles. His pupils are dilated and the warmth coming off of him is feverish and so tempting.

Summary
Letting out a weak wheeze of laughter, Luis' grin remained firmly in place. "My, my Leon. Si querías darme duro contra el muro, you could have told me sooner."
While Leon's Spanish – as proven before with the Don Quixote debacle – wasn't the best, he was pretty sure he’d understood what Luis meant.
Leon had, in fact, not understood what Luis had meant.

Summary
To Wesker's credit, he'd actually booked himself a hotel room, which was more than could be said for his European disappearances, where he'd simply walk into a warehouse party on Friday evening and wouldn't leave until promptly before his return flight.
The lock finally turned and Will looked up from the report he'd been pretending to read. He wished he hadn't.
Albert stepped through the door carefully- a concerted effort not to stumble, clearly- looking like he'd been dragged backwards through every nightclub in Miami.
Of which there were many.
--
Albert Wesker has a nasty habit of disappearing, and Umbrella has a nastier habit of sending the only man who can reliably pull him back from the brink on rescue missions.

Harry finds himself in the liminal space between Martinaise and actually having to be Harry Du Bois again. He needs to return to his apartment, and his job, and his life, but the prospect is terrifying; everything that was once him is everything he can't allow himself to be ever again. Kim helps him make the transition, and Harry pines wildly over him. They eat food and talk about the homo-sexual underground. Harry tries not to cry a lot.
