Summary
Bela straightens. “It’s fine. I’ll come back later.” With that, she turns on her heel and makes for the door.
You don’t know what comes over you. “Oh, come on,” you gripe. “You’re not serious.” It’s too early to be picking fights, but her behavior is ridiculous. She’s acting like a child.
She stops. Turns. Opens her mouth like she has something to say, then seemingly thinks better of it.
“This room is big enough for two of us.”
Or: Bela likes music, which is awesome, because so do you! Also, a much anticipated reunion with Daniela.

Summary
“She’s a child,” Lady Dimitrescu repeats, “and she’s been here for all of a month.”
Heisenberg huffs. “Whatever. She’s barely house-trained. How do you expect to keep her on a leash?”
Lady Dimitrescu, sounding utterly incensed, hisses, “That is none of your concern, you odious little man.”
“‘None of my concern’? It concerns all of us, you super-sized bitch!”
Death wish indeed.
Or: The Lords are kind of stressed, but they're not making it anyone else's business, which is uncharacteristically cool of them. Meanwhile, dynamics continue to develop with each of the three sisters. It's going well, mostly.

Summary
“Hey, kitty cat,” Cassandra croons. “You forgot to thank me.”
“For what?”
“Nursing you back to health.”
“You didn’t—” you stop yourself mid-sentence, knowing it makes no difference. “Thank you.” It’s said through gritted teeth, which she seems delighted by. Asshole.
Or: A brief chat with the Duke, some progress on the Daniela front, and more violent face-mashing (ft. Cassandra).

Summary
No one else knows how tender Zoidberg’s ink glands get after an ink-spraying episode. No one else knows how Hubert craves the sensation of tentacles massaging soothing cream between his cheeks whenever his hemorrhoids flare up. No one else knows that despite having his heart removed several decades ago, Hubert is by no means heartless, and Zoidberg no longer has three hearts to speak of. (You do the math.)
So when he’s freshly molted—all wide-eyed, petal-pink, and achingly sensitive—Hubert knows exactly what to do. He throws together a suicide mission—ahem, he means “normal delivery”—in record time, and promptly sends the crew (sans Zoidberg) to
their deathssee it through.Or: Hubert loves it when Johnny molts—and he is never afraid to show him just how much.

Summary
During the physical assessment, it’s more of the same: pets and scritches and strokes that feel as patronizing as they do delectable.
He even coos as his foredigits—fingers—graze their abdomen, clearly pleased with what he finds there. Foolish Triterran. Didn’t he see the reading on the weighing machine? The gasp he lets out when he reads out the measurement is humiliating. “Look at you! So big!”
Destra feels their tail lash in irritation.
Or: Destra visits a Triterran doctor!

Summary
She liked Leon because they could play games. Endless cat and mouse chases were fun and a good reminder of how much she could be in control. Always on her toes, always ready to flee, always running and never stopping.
She liked Claire for a different reason. She allowed her to pretend for a little while.Bookmarked by forkspill

Summary
Ada’s hand moves and Claire is so, so slow - noticing just now that Ada has been carrying a gun, unholstered. The glint of its metal is captivating, as Ada taps it to Claire’s thigh, hidden underneath the bedding, then moves the barrel up until it’s pressed against Claire’s stomach.
“Scared?” Ada asks, and her eyes betray she finds Claire pitiful, like somebody might regard a particularly cute wounded animal, “You should ask questions first, Claire.”
Ada licks her lips, long lashes slowly lowering, eyes tracing Claire from head to toe. Her eyes are captivating, beautifully dark and deep, looking at Claire with a strange mix of satisfaction and mocking, superiorly arrogant.
“But,” Ada interjects again, eyes snapping back up to stare right into Claire’s, “I like that. Cautious but naive. So cute. Maybe I have a type, you think?”
Claire meets her own undoing at the end of the world.
