Jaehyun's heart was racing.
No one ever talked to him like this—not Jaehyun, youngest son and only omega of the elite and prestigious Jung family—especially not people he just met. They were always coos and praises, an overenthusiastic amiability as though they had been old friends. So determined to flatter him, to win his favor, to win his family's favor, as though Jaehyun's approval might somehow brush some of his status off on them.
Doyoung had his professional expectations laid out for him plainly and genuinely did not seem to care if Jaehyun liked him on a more personal level.

“No.” Doyoung scooted closer, laying back down so they were only inches apart. Their knees knocked together as Donghyuck sucked in a breath. Doyoung was leaning in closer and he could smell the tang of salt water on his breath, his skin. “Because every morning I get to meet the sun.”
