Ghost had nearly forgotten about why he was so out of it the last few hours, thinking back to the scuffle at the gate. In his mind's eye the last thing he can recall is the Shadows descending on Alejandro. Ringing in his ears as he crumples from a buttstock to the face, multiple Shadows working to hold him down and he felt a needle before a calm overtook his body. The last thing was him seeing Soap jump the barrier and run into the city. Gunshots echoing.
