(Mostly canon compliant to episode six)
None of this is real. One of the only things keeping Jax around has been that affirmation. None of this is real. Their bodies, adventures, and even personalities weren't entirely real. So Jax plasters on a smile, cracks jokes, and leads the group through each adventure. He even manages to convince Caine to give them that sex update, much to everyone's excitement. He didn't expect to use it with anyone, really just wanting to force his hand on Caine after the incident. A certain pair of red and blue characters, however, change his plans for the better.
His plans are then changed for the worse when a bug in the new program leaves him facing the idea that even the most ridiculous possibilities in here could feel all too real. Whether he likes it or not, he's going through with the- uh- technical difficulty, and the gals are backing him through it. Forced to look at the digital world in a whole other perspective, still facing the threat of abstraction, and now having the kind of responsibility he didn't deserve, Jax just might learn (and re-learn things) he thought he'd lost years ago.Series

Summary
Jax and Pomni had a building friendship, things were going great. But then one little hug ruined everything. What had happened in Jax's past to make him so incredibly resistant to any kind of companionship? Whatever it was, it still haunts him to this day. Even coming back as hallucinations. But then what happens when the real version of the hallucination comes back into his life?
A slow burn romance between Jax, Pomni, and Ribbit. Filled with angst, psychological horror, self-deprecation, eventual self-acceptance, and a horrible glitch slowly spreading throughout the circus.
Starts during the end of episode 6.
Percerrinas helped me come up with the title.

Summary
On the final precipice of abstraction, Jax—against all reason, against all impossibility—glimpses the view from halfway down before he gives himself the chance to jump. The fall, after all, seems much worse when you’ve been given a better sense for what happens when you hit the ground. For better or worse, Jax now has his whole life ahead of him (or, at least, whatever counts as a life for a brain scan).
But it’s one thing, to decide that you don’t want to die. It’s another thing entirely to decide that you want to live.
(Or: It takes something like a miracle to stop Jax from abstracting. Fortunately, it just takes a hell of a lot of work to get her to figure out everything else.)
