"Why does it feel like whatever you’re up to could get all of us killed?”
Regulus snapped the book shut and stood up, facing his two friends with a serious look on his face. “If you knew, you’d only be in more danger.” He said evenly, though his voice wavered just enough to betray the weight of his words.
“Too late for that.” Evan said, locking eyes with him. “Just breathing puts us in danger, do you honestly think we care about our safety?”
Now, Regulus could’ve lied. He could’ve pushed them away, told them it was about Sirius or his mother, or just walked away from the conversation. Regulus knew these people, they would never let it go, nor believe any of the lies he would have told them.
He’d sighed before concealing the room under a silencing spell. “I’m going to kill him.” He’d said.
Or
Regulus, Evan and Barty have figured out a way to get rid of the Dark Lord. Their mission consists of finding the objects responsible for his elongated life, and to destroy them. Of course, this calls for a lot of trust, love, and assistance from people they'd rather not ask for help.

what if Voldemort was not here?
what if Regulus folowed his brother?
what if the Marauders were not the only marauders?
what if James didn't like Lily?
what if they had a choice?
what if Peter was not bad?
what if the Gryffindors and Slytherins did not hate eachother?
what if we give people a chance?Sometimes, we are not a bad person, we just need someone. That someone could be a sibling, a friend, a parent, or your brother's best friend

Summary
Still editing chapters I’ve posted but mostly for grammar and small details. If major details change I’ll make that very clear in an editor note!
Two decades after the Inferi first crawled from the rivers, Regulus learned what the universe had already made clear. It doesn’t owe the living anything, and certainly doesn't care whether he exists. This becomes startlingly clear when a normal scavenging trip ends with a bite sinking deep into his ribs. Problem is, Regulus is desperate for survival yet has not an ounce of self-preservation.
Told from Regulus’s POV, the story starts with five survivors: Regulus, James, Sirius, Remus, and Lily. They navigate the ruins of the Scottish Lowlands to survive the Inferi, the elements, and other cruelties in what remains of humanity.

Summary
'James Potter had been sat peacefully in his flat that night. Vinyl on the record player, warm lamps lighting the room, and some casual reading in his lap. He was unwinding nicely, calming down for the evening to hopefully get some good rest in. James Potter had not been expecting his fireplace to roar suddenly, making him jump a little as green flared upwards, spitting a very distressed Regulus Black onto his living room floor.'
Or, Regulus makes an ill-conceived decision, his parents are NOT pleased, and he finds himself fleeing to James after not speaking for ages.
