Summary
I've had maladaptive daydreaming disorder for like two decades or something, and my paracosms have been influenced by a lot of different fandoms, but it's evolved so far it's absolutely it's own thing. The Shelter paracosm centers on Faith and her adventures. A lot of this is self-indulgent whump, especially since this is my own personal work, so no one can get upset about what I'm doing to the characters who've inspired these things. To summarise very quickly, this takes place in an alien society that treats humans like their livestock, slaves, pets, you name it... Some good old fashioned dehumanising whump. Faith is working on building up a team that can dismantle this system eventually. But my favourite part isn't the freedom fighting, but the pain, the pleasure, the fear and the drama.
