Summary
The year is 1957, it’s rearing the anniversary of Phineas’s death again, one more year that Gene will become empty on the day of, and then work his way to becoming a human again as the days pass. The date will come around again and it will start all over. A continuous cycle. On the fifteenth anniversary of Phineas’s death, Gene wakes up in a room that’s familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. When he rolls over, Finny is sitting on his bed, alive and breathing. Gene wakes up in the past and gets the opportunity of a lifetime, he gets to fix everything. He can get closure, find peace, and maybe something else. Gene’s not sure about a lot of things, but he knows he’s gonna fix all his mistakes this go around. Even if it involves things that hadn’t happened in the past.

Ronan Lynch is forced to sit at a bus stop for this eleven hours with a stranger because of his brother’s request. Maybe eleven hours is enough to let a stranger get to know you, maybe it’s not.
