Summary
L knew that Light was the serial killer - there was just not enough evidence to pin him. Desperate to catch him, he went undercover as a student working on a project with Light. During the investigation, L came to discover that Light's girlfriend, Misa Amane, is unhappy with being forced into an open relationship. The breaking point came when she saw Light with another woman during a Halloween party.
Now, L finds himself walking a crying and drunk girl home. She invites him in for some tea and sweets, but things got out of hand.
