Gon reaches out his hand and this time, instead of the wings shrinking into Killua’s back at his touch, Killua flinches and squirms away from Gon before he even gets there. A few bloody feathers fall onto the bedsheets.
“Don’t touch them. I hate them.” Killua hisses.
His eyes are icy blue and his tone equally cold, but for some reason, Gon doesn’t believe him at all.

Gon’s gasp is loud enough that it startles Killua and he whips his head to look at him with wide eyes. Fast as usual, Gon’s already on his knees and reaching toward Killua’s shoulder with his emotions laid bare across his face, open for anyone to reach over and pluck them. “Are you getting a sunburn?”
“Don’t - don’t fucking touch it,” Killua hisses, slapping Gon’s hand away. “What else did you expect? Look at my skin, idiot. I’m pale as a vampire. Of course I’m getting a sunburn!”
