He needs treatment and possibly a kidney transplant. But what's the point when dear old dad is just going to find him and cut him into pieces? So, fuck it. Neil focuses on doing what he loves until his clock ticks down to zero. Exy is all that matters until the Foxes enter his life and change everything.

Neil Josten didn't understand why someone would actively try to harm themselves. Until he did. After spending his entire life running away from death, he suddenly seems to be spiraling down towards it.
His twisted body is slipping in and out of reality and if making himself bleed is the only way to feel real again, is it really that bad?

“Okay, so lets just keep going then...I choose Sheena to go next,” he said with an inviting smile that did not reach his eyes and Neil knew it was probably Dan’s idea to have Matt call on one of the most problematic freshmen. There were high chances it was supposed to be some sort of peace offering that, given the smirk on Sheena’s face, she absolutely decided to not accept. Absently, Neil thought that the face she was making made her look even uglier than she normally would, which should be impossible. His captain would be very proud to know he decided to keep that thought to himself. Neil mentally prepared to be attacked, but instead Sheena looked at Aaron.
