Leonardo da Vinci, dopo il periodo passato presso il Duca Valentino, è tornato nella città dove si è formato come artista e con lui c'è l'inseparabile Salaì, molto più che solo un suo allievo. Salaì ha un rimpianto: avrebbe voluto conoscere il suo amato maestro quando era giovane e viveva a Firenze. Un desiderio impossibile da esaudire... ma forse Leonardo sa come accontentarlo.

The door swung open slowly. “Um, Kim? I think I need help with something,” Harry mumbled, just loud enough for his partner to hear. He stood awkwardly in the doorway, with a pained faux-smile on his face and a strangely hunched posture.
Kim looked up from the paperback and pushed up his glasses, studying him for a moment before speaking. He noted how flushed Harry’s cheeks were, and how he seemed to be trembling slightly, which concerned him. “Help with what? Is everything alright?”
“I, uh. I need medical advice.” Harry’s eyes shifted towards the floor, then back to Kim.
The furrows on Kim’s brow deepened as he narrowed his eyes. “What kind of medical advice?”
“Um. Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to, say, get some kind of foreign object stuck inside their body, how would you get it out?” he asked, his words quick and halting.
