    Collei's eyes shot open, her body drenched in a cold sweat from another one of her nightmares. A constant reminder of her trauma.

     

    She hates how her nightgown sticks to her body— touching her.

     

    There’s too many different feeling of textures on her body.

     

    She wants them to be gone.

     

    Without pausing to think, she leapt out of her bed and began to run, her sickly legs straining with the effort as if that’ll help her run away from her trauma.

     

    She paid no heed to the darkness of the night or the exhaustion in her muscles. Her only thought was to put as much distance between herself and her nightmares as possible, to escape from the horrors that haunted her even in her dreams.

    In the dead of night, Collei woke up with a start, a cold sweat clinging to her skin. Her heart raced, and fear gripped her. The remnants of a bad dream still lingering in her mind. She spent zero time running away— all the way to Sumeru City.

    There she encounters her other two fathers and she spends time at their abode.
