Atsushi had a rough mission that took him two weeks. He doesn't want to admit he's sick, even after fainting in the middle of the street. How lucky Akutagawa to run into him!
Akutagawa brings him home and chaos ensues. The two start to bond as Atsushi gets better from the flu, meaning Atsushi stays with Akutagawa for a bit. They both agreed to tell no one else about it (besides Gin).
The fic is gonna be a lot of fluff with bantering, coughing and bonding, all the good stuff for a short fic.

The ADA rushes Kenji to the hospital while Sora is on her way. It is a long road to recovery for Kenji, one that has many bumps in the road. In the meantime, Dazai makes some progress on surveying the enemy and the baton is passed to Chuuya. The war with the Sheep is just beginning.
Of course this book includes more crack, more fluff, and yes, more angst (would it really be a FanGirl09 story without any angst? Impossible!). Along with all the serious stuff comes relationships, more of Poe's backstory and how he deals with Melissa, Dazai and Junichiro continuing their recovery, Gin struggling to get back on her feet, and many more hamster related shenanigans. I hope that you'll stick around for another book full of bullshit :)
TRIGGER WARNING: Each chapter has it's own individual warning, but general warnings go for-- Eating Disorders, Blood, Vomiting, Abuse, Physical Violence, Mental Breakdowns, Self-Harm, mentions of Suicide, bullying, verbal abuse (more to potentially be added). One small difference. That's all it takes.
Atsushi doesn't stick around after saving Dazai from the river, instead deciding to move on and try to find food elsewhere.
A few days (weeks? Months?) later, he meets a little girl and man at the train station, and decides to help them out with finding a potential bomber.

It all started with the letters.One day, an owl came and perched on the windowsill of Atsushi’s cell. It had lovely dark feathers that gleamed in the moonlight and was so close he could almost touch it. Curse his thirteen year old body for being too short to reach the window. But what was unusual about this owl was that it carried something in its beak; a small, rectangular piece of white paper commonly known as an envelope.
But that didn’t make sense. Who would want to send a letter to someone as worthless as him? Who could possibly want to talk - or in this case write - to someone good for nothing like himself?
