He doesn't know that he should have been raised as royalty, doesn't know that his parents sent him away when he was just three years old, telling everyone he had died, doesn't know that before he was born he was promised as part of a peace treaty to the rulers of a neighbouring kingdom - a land of devil-worshippers with access to dark powers. He doesn't know that they are coming to hunt him down.
