Standing there, in the middle of the station, is Carla, Christopher and “Eddie?” Buck can only breathe his husbands name. Chills run down his spine and tears well up in his eyes once again. Before he realizes he’s doing it, Buck runs down the stairs, almost falling over.
“Eddie!”Or, Eddie finally comes home and stays. Buck is very sentimental and clingy about it.

Eddie’s chest tightened. “Can’t you just… give me space?” His voice rose, urgent now. “Give us space?”
Buck let out a breath that sounded almost like a laugh. “Space is all I’ve ever given. To everyone.” His eyes were wet, but steady. “I wait. I hope. I tell myself it’ll be different this time, that I’ll finally be loved the way I love.” After a beat, he added “I thought it would be different with you.”
“It is different,” Eddie said quickly. “You know I love you. I just …”
