Okay, Buck, Chimney and I talked and we decided you needed a little help. It’s been two years and you still haven’t gotten your shit together, so it’s time for me to step in. You know I love you, Buck…but how long is it going to take you to admit your feelings for a certain firefighter?
(That firefighter is Eddie, if I’m not being clear enough.)Buck choked on his saliva, slamming the cover page over the introduction. Buck coughed harshly, one hand gripping the little booklet and the other gripping his knee tightly. What the actual fuck?!
----OR Buck's in love with his best friend and doesn't know how to figure out if Eddie shares his feelings.

Summary
“I thought we were past this,” Hen murmured, chin resting in her hand, elbows on her knees. “I know everything has gone to shit lately, and he’s taken more risks, but I thought he’d moved past his reckless days.”
“He wasn’t being reckless.”
They turned toward the doors of the ER waiting room to see Eddie having just bustled in, a bit breathless.
“Eddie-“
“No, no, guys, I know I wasn’t there and I don’t exactly have the room to comment but… Buck isn’t reckless, alright? He’s smart. He knows the risks that he takes, and if he made a decision, he weighed it. Problem is, he weighs the remote chance of anyone else’s survival against his own.”
The team exchanged glances.
“You’re saying he doesn’t value his life,” Hen whispered.
Or,
Buck gets hurt on the job. Cue the introspection for both him and Eddie.

Summary
On one hand he had Eddie, his best friend, and probably the love of his life too. Who was probably straight and wanted nothing to do with Buck in that way, but was the perfect companion in every other way. If Buck asked him to jump, Eddie would say how high. And on the other hand, he had Ed, his Grindr crush and the perfect boy with a perfect dick. Amazing conversation, same quirks as Buck, same interests… Perfect in every way. But the fact that he didn’t want to meet in person was still bothering Buck because he had a big fucking problem… Buck might have fallen in love with him, too.
That was just his luck. He tried to forget about his best friend just to end up falling in love with another person who didn’t want him like that either.
OR
The one where Buck falls in love with Eddie and with Ed, a mysterious dude on Grindr who happens to be his stupid best friend (who is also in love with him and doesn't know how to act on his feelings).

Summary
The thing is, one job isn’t going to cut it. Not with the cost of living in LA, plus the doctors’ bills and physical therapy and tuition for Christopher. He’s—well, he’s not happy to do it, but it’s worth it for his son’s sake. So the fact of the matter is, working day shifts at a garage is not enough on its own, and when he sees an opening for a bouncer at a bar not too far from his place, he applies.
It’s just that he didn’t expect it to be quite this…colorful.
