Collection of one-shots (liar-liar pants on fire), aka my attempt at using the end of Requiem to figure out what the Redfield-Kennedy household might have been up to between Village and Requiem, while also making them dads to all the blond snarky little shits.

Summary
Ahh ha... I wrote this over the weekend while stoned off my ass the entire time. I couldn't think of a title. Or a summary... but..

Summary
Ten years ago, Leon’s parents died trying to protect him from Derek Simmons. Now, trapped as Simmons' ward and plaything, Leon keeps himself sane by doing his guardian's dirty work - if Leon does it, people don’t die - and working towards the freedom Simmons has been dangling over his head for years.
Chris Redfield’s latest attempt to catch corrupt business mogul Derek Simmons derails when a blond, blue eyed cat hybrid destroys his evidence and saves Chris’s life in the process. Leon isn’t the type of person who’d work for Simmons by choice. Chris wants the kid to trust him, wants to figure out the hold Simmons has on him, but as Simmons' cruelty becomes more depraved and vicious and Leon starts to break, Chris's focus narrows down to one, urgent goal.
Save Leon Kennedy before there’s nothing left of him.

Summary
There was a strange finality in the air, the feeling weighing Chris down and pressing against his chest in a way that was making it hard to breathe. The BOW seemed to be able to sense it too as it arose from within the tank, water streaming off its scales and dripping to the floor - roaring at them as if it was throwing the gauntlet down for a fight. While the BOW screeched at them, the sound ear piercing and painful, Chris took the opportunity to see what the monster looked like.
And then immediately wished he hadn’t.

They might’ve forced him to sign over his freedom. Might’ve forced him to twist and contort until he could no longer stand who he was. But they never prepared him for the agonizing pain that came with fixing the shattered pieces of who he once was. For the pain that came with being loved.
