“Jax, come back! We’re supposed to work as a team!” Pomni reached to grab his hand and pull him back but he dodged.
“No way I’m sticking around and listening to you fuckers bitch!” Jax laughed, annoyed she was trying to stop him. Heaven forbid he wanted to be alone.
“We don’t even know what’s in the maze! You could walk straight into a pit of lava!” Pomni huffed.
“Or a giant centipede,” Jax laughed, eyes darting to Ragatha's horrified face.
