Prompto lives with his two closest friends, Gladio and Ignis, in a small town house in the outskirts of Insomnia. They try to get by in their lives with low-income jobs that they have to fight to keep because of their status as alpha's and omega's. It didn't use to be like this, but after the old king died and Ravus Nox Fleuret ascended the throne, life hasn't been easy for their kind. Then one day Prompto finds a homeless omega in their garden, and after a rough start he starts taking care of the poor man. Soon they become friends and as he gets to know the shy and mute omega he slowly but surely unravels his traumatic life story and a secret that could be the key to their freedom.

It had always been his best weapon against boredom, fear, and tense atmospheres inside the castle, but now it’s just gone, with no clear solution or cure because of course he’s the first idiot in history to trip the botanical wire that got his speech taken away in the first place. At least he doesn’t carry all the responsibility, as somehow Mr. Perfectpants Keith has landed in the same shitty, voiceless boat.
While the rest of team Voltron tries their best to grapple with the situation and find a cure, Keith and Lance are busy working to understand each other without their words.

Spock, Bones and Jim got together after Star Trek Beyond.. They all three get Bonded to each other during the first day of Spock's Pon Farr which lasted for three weeks (Yikes, that's a lot of sex! But, hey, at least they got a proper Honeymoon?!).. Eight weeks after they are Bonded, Jim starts getting sick and faints. Turns out Jim is exactly seven weeks Pregnant with TWINS (which means conception would have been during Spock's second week of Pon Farr).. There's a few problems with that diagnoses, though, Bones had a Vasectomy after Jocelyn and Spock is Sterile..
In which both Spock and Bones are morons and accuse Jim of cheating on them because "there is "no way" that either of them could have gotten Jim pregnant" and Jim suffers horribly due to their ignorance..

(DISCLAIMER: i am not mute, nor have i ever met anyone who is such, but i thought this concept would be good practice for me since i rely a lot on standard dialogue and i really wanted to try something unconventional. i did not research any actual medical practices regarding the medical reasoning for this situation, but i personally think it's at least mostly reasonable. if you have any problems with my characterization regarding any of the issues presented here, feel free to let me know either in the comments or on tumblr and i will rewrite accordingly. also, the graphic depictions of violence warning really only applies to the first and second chapter so far)
