Summary
“My boy, it simply is not possible to become a hero without a quirk.” The skeleton of his idol, filled with sincerity that lined Izuku’s tastebuds with something sour. He was so genuine, a concern that reminded him of the selfless act All Might must have truly believed this to be. “Please, for your own sake, try to be realistic. If you truly wish to save people… go into police work.” And his hero continued to speak, surely encouraging until he’d recovered enough energy to leave. If a hero with a power such as his could be injured so gravely, it was a death sentence for someone with none to throw themself into the fray.
Izuku did not leave the roof. He removed his gakuran, spread his notebook wide in the midday sun, and collapsed onto the hot gravel.

A year has gone by since Leland Coyle showed up in your Murkoff assigned home and agreed to stay. You dreamed of a white picket fence kind of lifestyle: your husband works in law enforcement, you are a stay at home mom, you make pies, you tend to your garden, your husband hosts barbecues, you attend social gatherings and bible studies.
And sure, you can have all of those things. Just know that you will occasionally be expected to bury a body, engage in blackmail, steal money, murder innocents, trespass, tamper with evidence, and lie... lie A LOT...

"The Gamer" lets Midoriya live life like a video game: stats, skills, XP, and inventory included. And despite its irregularity, Midoriya decides to use it to be the best hero he can be! But... things don’t exactly go according to plan.
When circumstances force Midoriya to register as having regular analysis quirk, he's obliged to max out his intelligence and wisdom stats to keep up the lie. Not to mention keeping the rest of his abilities a secret. After all, the last thing he needs right now is suspicion, not after registering his quirk late and under... to put it charitably, unusual circumstances.
Becoming a hero might just have gotten a little more complicated.

Izuku Midoriya is beginning to remember who he once was, but those memories come with a price. The League of Villains won't let him go if they find out. He doesn't want to abandon his teacher either. It's hard to be a villain when you want to be a hero, however.
Katsuki Bakugou isn't about to let Deku die a second time. He's going to pull out all the stops to get that idiot home. Thankfully, he has some help.
