When they had warped the green-haired hero student to the bar, they were ready for a fight or to at least have to knock him out. They remembered how he had fought during the sports festival and it wasn’t a secret that he had managed to take down Stain who ‘approved’ of him.
They were ready for him to come at them quickly, with green lightning surrounding him and pressure in the air. They were not ready for the tired blank face as he looked at them and simply said, "Oh" while carrying a grocery bag.
“Hey Shigaraki. Kurogiri,” Midoriya said bluntly with tired eyes, “How you guys been?”
tldr; the LOV kidnapped Izuku while he was in the middle of getting dinner and much to their surprise Izuku is just tired and would rather simply enjoy some of Kurogiri's tea

All For One waited for the qualification.
"But... But... I don't think I can do it as a hero," his son wailed. "But I still want to help people!"
Hisashi hugged his son. "You will help people, Izuku." He placed his cheek on the crown of Izuku's head. His son's green curls were so soft and he just held his boy for a few moments longer. "You will stand by my side when I change the world," All For One told his son. "You will be my dragon," he added.It didn't start when All Might told Izuku that he couldn't be a hero. It started much earlier than that, when Hisashi Midoriya walked out on Inko, taking with him their four and a half year old son.
AFO will devote a lot of time to investments he considers worthwhile. His son is one such investment. With AFO shaping his experiences, Izuku's Elementary School Years are very different than those in canon.
Covers Izuku's story from four and a half to ten years old. Currently Izuku is nine.

Summary
When Izuku was four, he went to a quirk doctor. The doctor told him he was just a late bloomer, his quirk just hadn’t come in yet. Every one teased him and his father was very insistent on trying to get a quirk out of him. At least he had his mom and Kacchan.
He went to the doctor again when he was seven when he still hadn’t shown signs of a quirk. The doctor told him that if his quirk hadn’t come in yet, then he was most likely functionally quirkless. His father was furious and left and Kacchan called him ‘Deku’ for the first time.
His life was miserable from that moment on. Everyone treated him like dirt and constantly abused him. On top of that, he was constantly losing time during the day, making life very difficult.
Then, when he’s 12, he meets All Might and things finally have the chance to turn around. Except All Might’s answer to his question is the same as everyone else. He can’t be a hero.
With his last hope crushed, he takes a swan dive off the roof. Except All for One finds him and heals him. The man tells him what his hidden quirk really is and says he wants Izuku as his successor. Well, his life is already shit, might as well take the leap, right?

Apparently, the quirk got worse before it got better. On the final days before imminent recovery, those affected by the quirk had to have skin-to-skin contact with the person they love the most to alleviate the pain. Wow. The romance turned into a fucking porno. Katsuki and Shouto could be, at most, ten feet apart before the rumbling of their bones turned into outright hellish pain, and even better, even fucking better, the distance only lessened as the days passed. Yeah. Okay.
Or: Todobakudeku but with that trope where you can't be more than ten feet apart from them without being in absolute agony (except Izuku is from Shiketsu and 2-A don't even know about Shouto and Katsuki.)

“Teachers of UA,” Nedzu addressed, feeling quite giddy. “Meet Midoriya Izuku, our top scorer in both the practical and written exams.” Nedzu rolled the video back to Izuku standing in the dust, the girl leaning heavily against him as he stared at the Zero-pointer with determination instead of fear.
