    "What are you doing?" George asks gently, his voice quiet as he shakes his head the slightest bit. Attempting to will himself to stop.

    "Say you do not care for me," Dream tells him, his voice low as he whispers into George’s ear. "Tell me you feel nothing, and I will walk away,"

    "I feel..." George starts, feeling Dream's hand snake to hold his waist as he feels himself being pulled towards Dream's lips. "I feel..."

    The sound of a door opening quickly fills the room.

    Viscount Clay Dream Puffy intends to find a partner, though his plan is to marry not for love, but for practicality. He sets his sights on Fundy Davidson, the diamond of the season and who is everything a young scholar of London and American society should be.

    But what will happen when Fundy's older brother, George, is earnestly against this match and will do everything in his power to stop it? What will happen when George and Dream's feud prevent the marriage? What will happen when George and Dream are too close, and too often alone?

    Dream is a prisoner, trapped in a little cell for ages with no hope of being released. That is until George becomes king. One of the very first things he does is to give all the prisoners a fair trial, something his cruel father never did when he was king.

    So Dream gets to step outside for the first time in so long, tells his side of the story, and tries to prove his innocence.

    But he isn't innocent, which is why George puts him to work as a castle servant, five years of working and then he can be free. It's not too bad though, much better than his cell, and he even meets friends like George's guard Sapnap, Karl the tailor, and Corpse the stablehand.

    As time goes on, Dream and George even start to become friends. And, eventually, maybe a bit more than that.

     

    Or a story about second chances, in which Dream is freed from his criminal past and able to make friends because of King George's kindness. And if that kindness leads to him falling in love with said king, can anyone really blame him?
