Summary
"Hey, did you know that the fans ship you and Oscar?" Max randomly asked Lando one day.
After that, Lando went down a rabbit hole.
He didn't mean to. He told himself it was out of pure curiosity, but things escalated quickly, and he just wanted to stop the fire before it went all to ashes.
However, it seems like his body had other plans, reacting to Oscar's presence like he was a teenager with a stupid crush for the first time. It didn't help that Oscar looks at him like he has him figured out. As if he's reading his mind all the time, with all the dirty thoughts inside.
The dangerous truth was that Oscar didn't mind getting burned down with Lando in the process as long as he would get to claim him as his.

Summary
Oscar kisses Lando in a Miami club bathroom after Lando's first win, but then Lando gets pulled away before it could escalate further.
Lando spends the better part of the 2024 season telling himself a very convincing lie that the kiss meant nothing to him.
What starts as distance and damage control slowly becomes something Lando doesn't a clean word for. A push and pull that costs Oscar more than Lando is willing to see, and costs Lando more than he's willing to admit.

Summary
Across the floor, Oscar actually looks relaxed. Comfortable. Happy. Like he's having a genuinely good time.
Which is good. Obviously. It's good.
Alex is nice. Oscar deserves nice things. Oscar deserves people who make him smile. Oscar deserves someone who understands his weird obsession with museums and wasps and whatever the hell they were discussing earlier.
Lando shifts in his seat. The feeling remains.

Summary
