Summary
Sentinel's wind was slowing the Nanosurge, but not enough. Clouds of the things were making their way through the streets, towards the evacuees. They were lit up in flashes like the worst thunderstorms Ricardo had ever seen growing up, where ash static made lightning more common than people said it used to be. This lightning was his though, trying to fry as many Nanovores as he could. Pyro boosts were doing the same. The levels in his batteries were dropping fast. Losing charge. But what else could any of them do? At least it could buy a little more time, let Anathema and Ashfall deploy the recoding emitters. Just had to hope those would work, no time for tests.
It wasn't enough.
