Summary
Remus hated scars. Anyone's scars, really, but his own in particular. If anybody had ever bothered to ask him, even once, which was his least favorite, the answer would invariably be the bite on his thigh that started it all. Since that first scar, he had amassed quite the collection. A gruesome topographical map of pain and self-loathing he'd torn into his skin. Over the years he'd become a connoisseur, of sorts, on what caused scars and the level of pain that caused them.
Being so proficient in reading a person’s life mapped flesh, it came as a massive blow to his prowess that he missed the madly-flapping flying atlas that was on a collision course with his oblivious little face.

Summary
Heaven declares peace after the exterminations, but Lucifer doesn’t believe a word.
Summoned to a celestial celebration and forced to face his brother Michael and the ghosts of everything he’s lost, Lucifer asks Alastor to stand at his side as something more than an ally. Something convincing. Something dangerous.
What begins as a performance sharpens into desire as Heaven’s smiles turn predatory and the cost of peace becomes painfully clear.
Because when angels threaten Hell, love may be the most reckless weapon of all.

Summary
It felt like his skin was on fire.
Not the kind of fire that he'd bend. Not the kind of fire that had scarred his face.
It was a fire made from attendants doing every conceivable thing to prepare him for today. It was a fire made from embarrassment and anxiety.
Looking in the mirror's reflection he could see himself as attendants added adornments to his hair. Taking a deep breath to keep from wincing something poked his scalp for a moment.
Keep your composure.
Scented oil was tapped carefully to the skin behind his ear. The smell from the bottles intense when the attendants had to lean closer.
This was all utterly ridiculous.
All of this for an alpha he had never met. All of this for a political plot his father had come up with.
All of this because of the Southern Water Tribe.

But...he does.
How does he remember?
OR. Force osik. Din gets sent back in time to when he was saved by Death Watch, except Cody and the 212th save him instead.

Summary
Alastor is no fool; he knows exactly where his soul will be going once his clock stops ticking. It’s pointless to argue and, in his opinion, even more pointless to show up empty handed.
He spends progressively more time attempting to contact the other side for some kind of mutually beneficial arrangement, bodies piling up in his wake. While Alastor has never been a stranger to nightmares, the surge of them he experiences with each failed ritual attempt is becoming catastrophic to his ability to function until the only time sleep claims him is by force.
But when those restless nights are replaced with hazy visages of dark hands combing through his hair, petal-soft lips upon his forehead, and the impossible sensation of wings cradling him, he realizes that he has attracted the attention of something much larger than a mere dealmaking demon.
But, Alastor is not a foolish man.
So, when this creature of dreams offers him a deal, what can he do but accept?
