Summary
Katara joins her father's diplomatic coalition to the Fire Nation five years after a successful defeat of Firelord Ozai by Avatar Aang. Zuko is set to receive his full coronation in a few weeks time, but before the celebration can start, word is sent out to every corner of the globe: the avatar has been grievously wounded. What began as an emergency intervention has turned into a debacle only resolvable by none other than the heroes of the hundred year's war. But will their friendship be enough to sever ancient cords of hatred, or will their newfound world peace crumble before it's begun?
Are Love and friendship capable of overcoming everything, even death?
Takes place after the chronological events of the ATLA animated TV show & after events of the five-years immediately post-winning the war covered in "Letters Abroad". They can all be read as stand-alone works.

Summary
Zuko knows a lot of stories. A lifetime of loving theatre combined with an Avatar-based obsession that led him to read every scroll he could get his hands on means that he knows a lot of stories. Including some that have been lost to their home cultures for generations.
It’s not right that he knows these stories when the living members of the Air Nomads and the Southern Water Tribe do not. But if he can give them back a piece of the culture his people stole from them… that’s worth something, isn’t it?

Summary
While in the Foggy Swamp, Aang also has a vision about his firebending teacher. Weeks later, he and his friends end up in a strange Earth Kingdom town that holds tightly onto its secrets.
“It sounds like you’re describing Zuko,” the blacksmith says, and fire dances from his fingertips. “The Spirits really do have an ironic sense of humor.”
It’s not until they know who Zuko’s father is, that they realize what the blacksmith meant.
Zuko knows that he cannot run from destiny; but he really wishes that it didn’t involve him returning to the Fire Nation. -

Summary
"Prince Zuko," Iroh began, but the prince wasn't having it. He stormed away, not sparing his battered sparring partners a glance (he'd already bowed at the end of their match, anything else was unnecessary). Before he knew it he was in his quarters, flinging sparks from his fingers and hissing steam. When that passed, he aggressively lit his meditation candles and tried to calm down. It was difficult because unlike combat meditation came easily, which added insult to injury. Gentle flames licked the air and formed in his palms as well. They were warm and soothing, unlike how fire was supposed to be. Instead of stinging his skin with small burns, the flames numbed the scraps on his palms and the aches in his joints. He knew that by the time his meditation ended he would feel invigorated and new.
His heart burned with shame; no wonder father had discarded him. There was no greater disgrace than having a son who was a healer.

Summary
Across the room, Jet's gathering up empty bowls — ahem, hiding the evidence. He grins over his shoulder at Zuko.
"We didn't make a bad team, did we?" he says, sitting down crosslegged across from him. His dark eyes glitter in the light coming from the lanterns.
"No," Zuko says, looking down at his bowl. "We didn't."(the fic where Zuko uses his big brain cells to prevent his uncle outing them as firebenders in an Earth Kingdom city; this has unforseen consequences. Not all of them are bad.)

Summary
Zuko spent the first two weeks unconscious. Later, the ship’s healer would explain how he nearly succumbed to infection. That the dead tissue closest to his eye had to be carefully cut away, how the blisters towards the edges had to be popped and cleaned. Some of his hair had burned down to the scalp, and its remains had to be scrubbed off.

Summary
Set in a non-bending AU, Azula and Katara are emerging Pai Sho prodigies, destined to eventually battle for the title of world champion. Covering an entire decade of their lives, this is a story about how their initial rivalry grows into mutual respect and friendship, before blossoming into something much more than that. Heavily inspired by the Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit. Most of our favorite ATLA characters are Pai Sho players.

Summary
Perhaps if Aang tried hard enough, he could think of it as a new source of energy for the world, a new beacon of hope and as a sacrifice that would remind even the Fire Nation that love was selfless and unafraid.
Yue was lost now.
But, Aang supposed, they had gained Zuko.
–––Or, the story of how Sokka learns that perhaps love and hate are two sides of the same coin.

Summary
After Azula wounded Iroh in the abandoned Earth Kingdom village, Zuko brought him to the only place he can think of for help: the mixed Fire-Earth family he had stayed with when his ostrich horse needed a rest. The last time he was there, he was just Lee. This time they figure out who he and Iroh are - and offer them their hospitality anyway.
Zuko and Iroh may be welcome here, but this family has ties to the Fire Nation that go back before the war started, and some very strong opinions about what it's doing now. Iroh is confronted with his military past with the Earth Kingdom, while Zuko struggles to accept the family's open affection and respect for him.
Both of them have a lot to learn from a lame firebender who walks with a crutch and taught himself to master his element in the middle of the Earth Kingdom.
