John felt the tension from the day snap back into every muscle and joint, as he clenched his jaw and rushed to get off of the stranger, and as payback he jammed his knee straight in the guy’s nuts in the process. He grinned as he heard the man curl over and whine in pain, while straightening up and trying to find his bearings again.
“What the fuck was that for dude, we were bonding”
“Fuck off”
“Tsk tsk is that how you treat your knight in shining, well mostly clean, armor”
So the universe had decided he hadn't been punished today, and sent the local crackhead after him to finish the job “Knight in shinin- you literally pushed me off the damn edge to drown”
