Izuku clenched his fingers in the hem of his shirt nervously, before looking shyly up at Katsuki. “Well, with my pre-heat there’s more people who… want to… you know, and maybe if you scented me they would back off?”
Alarms were ringing in Katsuki’s head. His mouth felt dry.
“Shitty nerd, you’ve fought villains who would make these people run crying, and you can’t tell them you don’t want to fuck them?”
“Fighting villains is different from social anxiety, Kacchan!”Or: The five times Izuku hinted he wants Katsuki to spend his next heat with him, and the one time Katsuki took the hint.

Summary
Every monsoon season, Katsuki comes into Izuku's room at night for comfort. Izuku does his best to be there for him, but the more summers that pass, the harder it is for him to feel good about their whole... thing. Sure, he wants Katsuki to feel safe at night when storms shake the walls. But Izuku also happens to be deeply, hopelessly in love with his best friend. He has for years, now. However, when Izuku finally gets the courage to tell the bratty blond that he was banned from entering Izuku's room at night, Katsuki says something that makes his brain short-circuit:
"I'm not fucking scared of the rain!"
That couldn't be right, though. Because if Katsuki wasn't coming to Izuku's room on rainy nights because he was afraid, then what was he even coming to his room for?
