One of the vendors selling flowers in the marketplace handed it over with an amused look in her eye, telling him that he should take it as a gift—that it’s something very special and coveted during winter time in Academia. Noel had accepted it graciously, hiding his confusion behind a kind smile.
But he has no idea what it is. A bundle of leaves and... berries, he guesses? A “special” bundle of leaves and berries with a ribbon tied to it that suggests its use as a decoration instead of a treat.

Their lips meet, and it’s vicious. They’re not gentle or slow about it, they gnash at each other with bared teeth. Zack bites down on Cloud’s bottom lip hard enough to draw blood, swiping his tongue over the wound to soothe it. Cloud claws at his arms, pushing back against him, fighting to control the kiss. Zack doesn’t allow it. He takes Cloud by the wrists and pins his hands down by his hips.
They pull apart for a moment, just so he can whisper, “I don’t like you.”
“I don’t care.” Cloud spits back, chasing after Zack’s lips like a starved man.

Alas, director Lazard thinks the risk of him working during leave is to big when he stays on base, so now he has a room booked in Costa Del Sol and a plan to not be recognized by any sort of Paparazzi.
